Ronaldo scoops Ballon D`Or

yeah but its always gonna help your cause when your team wins the world cup thats why carlos came second as well. your right ronaldo doesnt exactly deserve it but compared to the other players in the top 3 he's a class above em... kahn 3rd doesnt make much sense especially when zidane is behind him
 
He got the emotional vote from many people who were happy to even see him playing again. My vote would have gone to Michael Ballack, was exceptional for Leverkusen last season and was probably the reason they did as well as they did.
 
one goal shouldnt determine whether he gets the award (it was a bloody brilliant goal though)

Zidane had an incredible first season with Real Madrid, scoring plenty of quality goals along the way.

naah zidane had some great matches but was injured and not as consistant as he prolly should have been. indeed he would be high up but kahn had a great season and was prolly the main reason germany got to the WC final.

Actulally henry should win it :p

You know what? You're probably right. He had a great season at Arsenal last season and also had a fantastic World Cup with the Frenchies :p He deserves it just for being better than Ruud Van whatever the rest of his name is - he's overrated so it doesn't really matter :p

glad he won it actually and i agree with it

however i think he won it for more than football reasons such as him coming back from such a real bad career threatening injury. Undoubtedly he was not the best player of last year other than in the WC but as i have stated i believe he won it for reasons more than football.

he should win player of WC not euro player of the yr and he prolly will win world player of the yr. i agree a great comeback but im pretty sure these awards are for best players over the whole yr and not just one tournament

Who cares anyway??!!! It's obviously ridiculously easy to get votes in that award because Michael Owen won it last year :D And if that isn't takin the mickey, then i don't know what is :)
