Roof bars.

I bought some Ford ones for my Mondeo. They do create a lot of noise at motorway cruising speeds. About 70mph+.

However, it's quite a lot of work to remove them and then put them back on so I just leave them on. It can be a little annoying though.
 
Yeah, i'm thinking i'll end up leaving mine on for most of the summer. Other option is going to be a new rear mount carrier but they're not so good and with the focus i'd need a lighting board.

Might give ford a call then.
 
What car are they being fitted to?

I had a set of thule ones for my corsa, plus a roof box, they were so easy to take on and off though, not worth keeping them on all the time.

Ah, didn't see the focus bit. Not sure how easy they go on and off then.
