Evening all. Should hopefully be building my first ever rig this weekend, and over many moons I have gathered my desired components. I believe they all work together and are decent choices, however please have a look over it incase I have made a noobtastic mistake somewhere.

*Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor with FREE Lost Planet 2 PC Game - Retail
*Gigabyte P67A-UD3 Intel P67 Chipset (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard - (Sandybridge)
*Corsair XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (CMX4GX3M2A1600C9)
*Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6950 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
*Antec TruePower New Modular 650W Power Supply
*Coolermaster CM-690 II Lite Dominator Case - Black
*Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (HD103SJ)
*Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler (Socket AM2/AM2+/AM3/775/1155/1156/1366)
*Samsung SH-S223L 22x DVD±RW DL & RAM with LightScribe SATA Optical Drive - Retail Box Black
*Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit - OEM (GFC-00599)

In regards to the mobo, I'm not bothered about CF/SLI, and I won't cry if it doesn't allow me to get a mega overclock on the CPU. :D

Thanks in advance.

All looks goo. Maybe should have gone for a retail windows 7 so you have the option of installing it to another machine or if you ever replace your current setup/upgrade. Other than this looks very nice. PS. dont forget to post some nice pics of your build!

Well I've heard those stories about calling up microsoft and pretending your motherboard died if you want to change your motherboard, so you can get another key or whatever. :p

And yes quite true, I suspect by the time I actually need to upgrade (not just get an itch) there will probably be another windows out. :D

Thanks everyone also. Must mean my hours of reading up served me well if all is good.
