room temperatures.....phew it's hot!

i live in a top floor maisonette and the internal temperature is currently 29 degrees (30 degrees between 4-9 pm) heat rises/no cool lower floor

Thats with blinds shut during the day to keep the sun out of the rooms and windows open. at the moment i keep the front door open to allow a draft up the stairs. Putting my AV eqpt on is a big no no....it's just to damn hot :cool:

The lounge is the hotest room as the sun sets that side of the building i saw 32 in that room this evening!

...anyway what temps have you guys got at the moment?

i feel for ya, i would be going crazy if i had to sit in that heat for a long time

maybe buy an aircon unit?

I wish it was as cool as that here, im livin with my parents in cyprus at the moment and it's insanly hot. They decided to get air con as soon as im leaving aswell lol. Can't wait to get back to aberdeen for some cooler weather.

i am in the lounge at the moment and it's 31 with fan on (though i have my pc in the room at the moment). If i switch the x360 / denon / amp and 32 lcd I may be able to cook jacket potatoes in here

....I have never known it this hot in the 10 years i have lived here.

So quite toasty at my PC, really hate OcUK at times like these, even less healthy posting than usual!

I was in the middle of London yesterday and it was about 36, don't know how hot it was at night, but it felt like it was still in the 30's, jesus it was sweltering.

Tends to be around 18 at night outside at the moment, which is quite reasonable. Tempted to camp in the garden

I've just driven home (10.30pm) and the external temperature reading showing on my dashboard is still 28 degrees :eek:
