Room wifi network

I am in secondary school and in my room i have my own-built desktop and for internet i have socket in the wall, there is no wifi in the school, the only way to access the internet is through one of these ports, i want to create a separate small wifi network rage isn't an issue so that i can use my laptop to stream stuff off the destop, no spear the internet.

Whats the best cheap method i was considering buying a wireless network card

good software, i used this when traveling europe in hotels as it was one device per login. laptop, and 2 iphones lol easy to use as well

NO i am am not sharing the internet, i just want to create a network between my laptop desktop and iphone, so the school will have no problem with it
