It's widely being reported that Rooney and Fergie have fallen out.

Rooney will not sign a contract extension, and at the end of this season he will be in the last year of his contract.

Alledgedly he wants £160k a week too.

Well it's not hard to see why they have fallen out.

Drinking/smoking/prostitutes, poor form for England and United.

So what will happen?

Surely only Man city, Chelsea, Barcelona or Real Madrid can afford his wages and huge transfer fee.

Myself I cannot belive this bloke, I know he's only 24 and he's paid far too much money, It's like Gazza 2, he's on self destruct

When it is obviously going to be a popular thread, its nice for it to have a decent looking title.

Posting in text speak, especially for a thread title, just makes you appear dumb.

Back to the point in hand

Man City would be prepared to pay Rooney 500k week.

That's a lot of sweets, ciggies and prostitutes

Especially when you're prepared to pay £100 to Hotel reception for a packet of marlboro lights.

Lets face it,

the balance of power is changing

Man City have rich owners,

Man Utd - troubled owners in debt to their eyeballs

Cannot see a bright MUFC future, saddled with debt.

The Glazers will accept the best fee. I don't expect it to be huge as everbody knows he can walk away, and wants away.

I wonder whether he has planned to go abroad not just to leave Man Utd but Coleen. You know the whole run away from your problems thing and lets face it the advice he will be receiving on what to do will have quite a few interests in him actually leaving.

Never have seen SAF look so gutted. I think he knows just about as much as we do. All down to Rooney now to explain himself, if he so chooses, but the lad certainly knows how to press the self-destruct button.

He's got 1 year left come summer.
So if he isnt sold in Jan, then they run the risk of Rooney paying the 5mill to buy his remaining year out.
And with 1yr left anyway, and knowing he wants out, the fee will already be much lower.

If he buys himself out of his contract, there will be no transfer fee to Manchester United.

On the subject of him going abroad.

Colleen and his son Kai are living back at home with Rooney. Colleen sister is really ill too.

Man City would seem the best option if they stay together.

Harry R, also dropped huge hints that Rooney was leaving for no transfer fee.

What he knows I don't know,but he mentions him sitting out his contract.
