Rory Gallagher

I'm listening to some of his stuff now and I think he's a great guitarist. But I never hear him mentioned on tv or by other musicians. What do you guys think of him, here's an mp3 clip from his official website. If any older members who would have been going to concerts at the time have heard him, what are your thoughts?

I saw him at least 10 times in the 70's, I have everyone of his albums and I have three fantastic DVD's of him.
Can't say anything bad about him and he was a truly nice person.
Sorry but I can't say anything bad about him except he sweated a lot.

The guy was a complete genius, and my all time favourite guitarists. Never heard a bad thing about him to be honest, except he drank too much.

Never saw him play but I have heard a bit of his stuff and seen a few old videos of him. I felt he never got the recognition he deserved, it seems the most blessed have the biggest demons to battle.
