First Jorge spits his dummy out with Dianese and switches to Alpinestar leathers after they still want Rossi to be the main focus of their publicity, despite Lorenzo being world champ. Then its announced that the MotoGP (and it seems, the WSBK team) will have no major sponsor next year and run in corporate colours. Poor Jorge!!!

i just dont like the guy, to me Lorenzo is just a bad copy
his race win celebrations are just trying to be a Rossi
it will be interesting how well the M1 will be next year(2012) with him as the top rider.
this year its still has Rossi`s influence in how the bike was developed

They do reckon Lorenzo is pretty good with the technical stuff tbh, i think the biggest loss for Yamaha was Jeremy Burgess. Look at what a nail (in comparative terms!

) the original M1 was until he came along with Rossi and totally redesigned it...i just hope he gets as much of a free hand at Ducati...

I don't get why Yamaha can't get a title sponsor on either of its 'factory' race teams. It's not like they have riders that aren't attractive to a sponsor. If anything, Jorge is certainly a character! And Melandri on the SBK i'd have thought would attract someone! Crazy.

I still think the Yamaha will go well this year, but I don't think anyone will be able to touch Casey.

They will still be very rapid motorcycles and Lorenzo is definately no mug, a bit of a prat yes but a bloody quick rider

I'm a big Lorenzo fan personally. I like Rossi and Lorenzo, Pedrosa, in fact there aren't many riders I dislike with the exception of cry baby Stoner.

I like Stoner - rides bikes on the edge. All he's interested in is winning on a bike, not the celeb personality that goes with it.

It will be interesting to see how Rossi does on the Duc, Stoner on the Honda and Spies and Lorenzo on the Yam - thats the strongest and, on paper, best balanced field in years
