Its very soft at the 300mm focal length and vignetting in somewhat prenounced between 5.6 and 11. Really need to shoot f16 and upwards to avoid it, which is quite easy when shooting flying aircraft.

Its not all that bad, suppose seeing all the white L glass around me made me feel bad .

Pretty happy so far.
