Round 2 first build

Ok so after my first attempt it became apparent I don't have a clue on the current components available. So basicly I'm returning what I have and seeking advice on the best build within my budget.
I require a
CPU
GPU
PSU
RAM
Motherboard

The rest I have
I will be using a Aerocool strike x case suitable for ATX/micro ATX

The system will be purely for gaming

Budget is around £550 can possibly squeeze a few more pennies come pay day.

had a look around and the spec i found doesn't give any reason to think not.

will accept cards up to 11.6” (295 mm) long.

Was just looking to order some of the parts suggested and the motherboard is out of stock.

Ah perfect, Just checking my money tree turns out I can squeeze in around £50 more. Anything worth upgrading further? Possibly 16GB RAM or a better GPU?

Better CPU or GPU. 16GB is of little use to increase performance (unless you run VMs....).

How much of a boost will I see from that the over GPU idleman recommended? Worth a extra £90 you think? Also it doesn't mention the dimensions, any ideas what they are so I can ensure they fit in my case

Ok think that comparison has swayed me to the 7950

Just need to find the dimensions somewhere to make sure it fits!
