does such a thing exist?

need a riser cable for a x1 socket for an add-on card, nothing over the x1 speed nor socket size, so was wondering if anyone knew of a rounded cable type, I know ribbons are cheaper and make more sense cost wise, but for flexibility during install a rounded cable would be handy!

yeah i saw those, still trying to work out if they utilise the usb protocol or just the cables for convenience.

also, unlikely to be able to get that usb plug under the gpu :(

funny enough that's the one i've literally just stumbled across !! and looks perfect for what I need

so given I will have 2 PCIe x1 cards in use, I will simply pick the one that has the lowest data transfer rate requirement and connect it into that, given the PCIe x1 slot has 36 pins, it must be converting to USB protocol to transfer the data, but as it's only to accommodate a legacy Parallel/Serial card that should be perfect.

thanks for looking too, appreciate the extra set of eyes so i don't miss something obvious.
