These seem to have been around forever, are Roccat going to release a new headset anytime soon?

I have owned these and they're awesome...until you listen to some decent stereo cans then it kinda sullies your opinion of them a bit.

As a headset for games though they're good and have a lot of bass but I found setup difficult with a Asus Xonar soundcard and temperamental, not sure how others feel about this aspect. Also on mine the controls on the remote had no effect whatsoever, again could be down to my choice of soundcard but I found it odd that no matter how I'd moved the sliders or switched from game to movie that the sound remained the same no matter what.

no point replacing something that works well.

I don't see what Roccat could do to better the Kaves for the price point in honesty.
 
what is the cable like on these? does it twist easy or is it that nice braided stuff?

Anyone know what Roccat RMA service is like if i have any issues with them if i get some and they develop a fault?
 
its braided on the one in the office.

RMA is through ocuk so you send it to us and we resolve it for you.

you also have access to our 14 day returns policy if they are not up to your expectations :)
 
I'm a noob when it comes to audio, but I've had these recommended to me while looking for a gaming headset - is there a difference in sound when using analog compared to USB?
 
I'm mental and I find this offensive...

EDIT: Can you measure the space inside the cups?

My ears get very uncomfortable in my Vengeance 1300s.

Depth would be nice to know.

These sound great but I found them to be heavy and uncomfortable for long periods.
