Hey guys again, sorry for creating yet another thread about my problems, i was way to hasty creating the other threads that i did. Just wanted to explain a bit better than i did in the other posts that i have wrote in one compltete thread.

My New Computer:

Core 2 Duo E6420
ASUS P5B Deluxe
Crucial Ballistix 5300 C3 2GB

I built it all up yesterday, installed Windows XP, booting up was pretty slow and when clicking icons it was supprisenly laggy.

Then i installed Windows Vista that went slightly smoother but i thought it was pretty slow, not to sure, what are other peoples views on Vista when installing it as a fresh install?

So after everything installed itself it was all fine, the problems i was having in XP didnt excist.

Though i did come across a few other problems for example when putting my Motherboard Chipset Driver disc in it comes up with a error:

Cant Execute Kernel Mode Driver Service, so i press ok then it saids:

Cant load ASUSHWIO.DLL, press ok again and now it saids:

Cant Load ASCDDMI.DLL, not to sure why it is doing this?

Last thing, i would just like to know how quickly Vista Boots up when you turn your pc on, just want a rough idea since mign is pretty slow or i think it is anyway. It might just be how Vista runs or it could be something wrong with my Computer.

Thanks everyone and sorry for creating another thread, last one. :D

The driver disk proberly isnt compatible with Vista is it?..... Don't you need to download independant Vista drivers from the website instead?

Yeah silly me, Ok thats all fine, all my Drivers are installed now. :D

Are you running Vista t31os, i would just like a few respnnces from people running Windows Vista, how quickly do your systems Boot up. Im trying to figure out if my problem is software related or hardware?

Nope sorry not running Vista, don't see what it has to offer me other then Aero, and i'm not impressed with it to be honest. My friend has Vista and it really shows nothing of interest at this time, i'll wait till it's a requirement, same as i did with XP.
