Im currently on the 1gb plan with Virgin and have one of there HUB 4's ive never really had a problem with it except for one thing and thats i cant get my smart bulbs or smart plugs to work with it.No big deal i hear you say but our household has 2 people with disabilities in it and being able to use the smart bulbs would be a big help.
I have tried everything that has been recommended on various forums with no luck and the general consensus seems to be run the hub in modem mode and get a router.
my PC and my Virgin box upstairs are both plugged into the HUB but everything else is done on WIFI.

The only gaming that is done is by my stepdaughter who has a Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch 2

I quite fancy the idea of a mesh system and have seen the Linksys Velop MX4200 Tri Band WIFI 6 system and i was just wondering if its any good or should i just go for the router most people suggest which is the ASUS RT-AX57 (AX3000)

Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated thanks
