Hi,

I'm switching to Zen Fiber from Bethere and am trying to find a suitable router.

Zen sell various routers (mostly Technicolor) but I'm not too sure about any of them - and really liked the look of the Netgear WNDR4300

The problem is, it doesn't seem to come with a modem... can anyone please recommend a good router that makes it easy to setup the use of multiple IPs, but also has a built in modem compatible with Fiber?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure that the VDSL modem is separate from the Router in the typical Openreach installation - I think you can use any router that has an RJ45 WAN socket (e.g. routers sold as 'cable' routers).

So I think you can use any router you like. Check by calling Zen though, they're usually very helpful.

I use a WNDR4300 here in the office with Zen Fibre. Ethernet from the from the BT installed VDSL modem with the PPPoE settings setup on the Netgear. I also have a WNDR4000 at home with the same setup, both work flawlessly.
