Hi, I have a Asus RT-N56U router and it stops working whenever I play Burnout Paradise PC online.

Sometimes it breaks 30 seconds after connecting sometimes it lasts 30 minutes.
The WiFi stays connected but I can't access anything on the internet or even the router interface. It is like this for every device connected to the router.

This is the only multiplayer game i've played since getting the router a few months ago so i'm not sure if it's like this for all gaming.

My internet / router is completely stable when not in the game.
Does this seem like the router is broken or could there be a setting that needs changing?

Thanks, this has me really confused.

Updated to the latest firmware earlier, still cut out when gaming.

Will try the custom FW and changing the upload settings tomorrow.
Unplugged the Asus earlier and now using the ISP supplied router which works fine. Just has a rubbish wireless range.

Thanks

Which wireless card do you have? Does it cut out when connected via a cable?

Try new wireless drivers

Tried using the custom FW and using a wired connection. Been playing for the last hour and haven't had any problems yet.
I'll try again later on and see if it still works.

Hopefully it's fixed. Thanks :)
