I have a d link router that I have put into Bridge mode.

The modem gives me an IP addy.

Now how can I get into the dlink configuration as 192.168.0.1 doesnt work??

go to command prompt and type ipconfig /all

Check the default gateway and type that in, should work

Do ipconfig /all again and see what IP address is listed under DHCP server, if it's different try it.

Have you tried it with the modem unplugged?

EDIT: You could also try downloading Angry IP Scanner, use it to scan every ip between 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.254, you might discover your router this way.

The 192.168.... range isn't likely to exist for you as you've set the router to bridged mode - you've essentially said that you want your PCs to be on the same network as your ISP that your router is on, rather than saying that your router is on the ISP network and is also on the internal 192.168.x.x network. This will therefore not created the extra, internal network for your PC to join (which would have been on 192.168.x.x).

Assuming that the modem is plugged into the router, and your PC is in turn using the router as your gateway...... when you do "ipconfig /all", do you see an IP for your own machine? If not, you are probably limited to the one IP on that network which will be assigned to your router. You might want to reset your modem to get it back to the old settings so that you can configure it again.

If you manually set the IP to be in the range 192.168.0.0/24, it might work. It's not going to work if the modem's passing your public IP back...
