Router Connection Troubles

Hi, I recently got a self-made PC and everything was fine with it so far until i attempted to connect to my N1 router via my wireless card, a Edimax EW-7722In, and my PC wouldn't connect saying to reset the router and after doing that the problem still didn't solve with the error report saying that the router did not respond to the signal.

Please help.

open cmd
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

maybe conflict of ip adress , have you added any new devices recently.

lastly just try resetting router and wifi card to factory settings
