Router has given up the ghost! Spec me a new one please

Needs to be wireless but other than that dont have any preferences really.

The current one is a 3com which despite people calling the manufactor it has served me well for about 5 years.

What brands are the best to go with? Obviously Cisco is out of my budget :p

Its ADSL (not ADSL2 as its not available in my area yet)
 
what happened to your old router?
my router died the other month, was just the powersupply that needed replacing bought a new one from trying to hide it doesn't stop the fact they're a competitor
verified it was just the powersupply by shoving the power connector for my modem into the router breifly :D
 
Well last week it went off and I tested the power supply and it was broken so found another I had from something and plugged that in and it worked a treat. However one week on its done exactly the same thing and the power supply have gone again so I assume it must be an internal fault that keeps blowing the power supply?

Its on 24/7 and dont really want to have something that may be faulty on when Im not in the house
