We just got the belkin n wireless router(link below) for the homes internet work. The last one we had was old had had started to restart its self at random times on its own. I didn't install the last router we had so i haven't really got a clue how to install one but had a vage idea.

I put in the installation cd like it tells me and press next next next as it normally have to. About half way though it asks me for my connection informations and part of that was a list of internet service providers which only had 2 ntl's and 1 telewest in the list, We run bt so this was a problem. So at the bottom it said (if your isp is not in the list please click here) so I clicked here and it asked me if my connection was a statis or dymatic etc, I clicked pppoe. You are then sent to this page. This is what is shown.

I have entered the acount information that we got when we got the connection but that doesn't work. My friend told me to try [email protected] and leave password blank but your not allowed to leave the password blank. So after hours of entering different acount information i am still left we a router that doesn't work. So if anyone has this router and a bt connection or you just have information that my help me please post!

Yup, as Tolien said. It doesn't have a built in modem.
It just a wireless hub. You will need to connect a ADSL modem to this in order to get the internet working through it.

Look at the discription.

Connecting the Belkin N Wireless Router to your cable or DSL modem lets you share your broadband Internet account with all your networked computers.
