I'm back baby!
My router is connected directly to my master socket, with the face plate off. I've tried a different filter, using static ips instead of dhcp, connecting my laptop via Ethernet, I've reset the router using the pinhole at the back, both with the power on and off. I've tried a different power source (though not quite right rating it gives the same results).

I can't get to the setup page on the router via Ethernet and the @ light is amber.

The Ssid is broadcasting. The default encryption is in place following the reset.

Can't think of anything else to try. Spent 3 hours on the phone to sky. Now I have to wait 4 days for 2nd line to call me!

Any ideas?

No, I get an Apipa address.

The annoying thing is that I can't use another bb router to test.

That's my understanding. I just didn't want to wait another 3 days for sky to contact me, and then another 5 days for the router to come.

Ive flashed it from 2222 to 222c but there's no change.

Our lass is due to drop any time so I'm working from home. Couldn't have happened at a worse time.

I'm posting from my phone.

My laptop doesn't receive an ip address from the router. That's why it generates an apipa address. You can't do a release on an adapter that has no configuration.

Once the router is fully booted up I can't access the admin page via Ethernet cable. Though the Ssid is being broadcast there is no wireless functionality at all past that.

[edit]yep, tried assigning an ip myself. Nuthin doing.
