Router login

I have a netgear dg834gt router that we got off Sky broadband ages ago, I turned off the wireless broadcast cos we didnt need it but forgot the password. Now I want the wireless back on but obviousyl I couldnt get on because I didnt know the details so I did a factory reset (where you push in that little button) and the wireless came back on.

Now I'm at the original problem though because I dont want the wireless on unprotected but the default password and username (admin and password) doesnt work either.

So still stuck out and havent got a clue how to get back on now and the wireless will just be on permanently, any ideas?

I assume you have tried hard wiring the router and accessing the settings that way?

Have you tried admin and sky combo

yeah its always been plugged in

yeah just did then, didnt work.

I take it you mean "admin" and "sky"?
