Router possible problem

Hi,

I just got a router/modem for the first time and i noticed that the rdy light is flashing, is this a problem?

Any words of wisdom would be very helpful,

We cant help you if we dont know what router you have... Have you looked in the instruction manual to see what it means? Is the internet still working?

Ok its a Origo FC-AL2011PW wireless router/modem, i bought it off a mate and didnt get a manual,

Yeh i still have internet access and everything else seems fine, its just this little blinky annoying light!! :mad:

I read somewhere that is has something to do with blocking uploads, might be totally wrong!

I cant find any info for that router at all, the manufactures website is always down they've probably gone out of business, the newest cache from google is copyright 2004. All I can find out is that its an old router, no one seems to have it or know anything about it from looking at other forums.

Suspect it's generic Conexant, but if it ain't broke, ignore it.

Yeh i had problems finding anything on it at all!

Im just gonna leave it just now, i will get in contact with my mate and see if he knows anything about it.

My old conexant router continously flashed the ready light, so I'd say nothing to worry about.
