I have a couple of APC UPS which my modem, router, switches, Raspberry Pi's and AP run off.
They are a bit bulky so hide them out the way. I have ones you can plug the UK plug straight into.
Also powers PC, NAS and monitor so would have to shut them down if more than just a blip

I doubt a mini UPS with a single or double 18650 3.7v lithium cell are going to last long in a mains failure and I wouldn't be surprised if those devices figures are for completely idle router and of course with a brand new battery.

Unless you can can measure and confirm usage of your current router in various loads to calculate a rough runtime I would look at a larger UPS (APC/Cyberpower or similar) with an easily available 12V sealed lead/acid battery as UPS batteries need changing every 3 to 5 years. They're not much more expensive but will give vastly longer runtime.
