Router ProblemOkay a friend at work has a very serious problem with her Internet, and need assistance to help with her problem.

She has a NTL TV/internet package.

She has a Belkin F5D7230-4 wireless router, and a and a network card into another PC as she has two computers.

The computer with the card into its PCI slot is the one with the trouble. Apparantly it is connected/detected by the router but just can't access the Internet.

The othe rcomputer aparantly works fine.

Any suggestions?

double click the Local area connection icon ( down near the time on the bottem right of screen) click support has it got a ip ?

if not go to proberties, click tcp/ip make sure its on auto on both ip and dns

another thing to check is has someone mac flitered the mac of the card in the router ?

Also try right clicking local area connection and repair

is she using some sorta software firewall ? or norton ? if so try turning them off to test if they are making the problem.
