Router question?

Im looking to buy a router and the one I have found has a print server built i, so it has USB port on the back, would I be able to use a scanner on it via the USB port on the router?

A printer and a scanner are quite different devices

I know but I didn't no if I could use the scanner on the network? I mean its a USB port I thought it might work.LOL

a lot of these routers dont support bi-directional so I cant ever see a scanner working.
