Recently got Vodafone Gigafast FTTP installed and looking to upgrade my ageing Asus N66 which I think seems to struggle with the FTTP speeds. I dont need good wifi capability as I used BT Whole home Wifi mesh units which are ethernet backhauled. Just wondering if anyone can make recommendations for a reliable router?

DrayTek 2765/6 is a decent Router for FTTP it can do up 950Mb+ Firewall throughput, else pfSense box.
Do you need/want IDS or enhanced security/traffic shaping features?
Plenty of options to offer wirespeed with just NAT and basic firewalling but starts getting more spendy if you want any IDS etc.
I've put in a few Ubiquiti Edgerouter X's and they are solid units for the price.
