Hi,

I'm after a bit of advice if possible. I have 1gb virgin broadband which is located downstairs on the ground floor. My house has 3 floors (2 and a loft conversion which is my son's bedroom). So I'm after a router which has really good WiFi signal. He uses a powerline adapter for the computer in his room but still needs WiFi for phone usage. Running ethernet round the house for wireless access points isn't really an option unfortunately.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I was thinking about something like the zenwifi xt8 and having 1 downstairs where the broadband comes in and another upstairs on 2nd floor. Since it's tri-band shouldn't it work quite well in picking up and rebroadcasting the signal?
