i see u have the gateway bridge bug that pops up.

disconnect the gateway and reboot, also try reinstalling your wifi drivers

my dlink utility tells me my wifi card is at 54mbits while windows says its 108mbs, when i transfer files locally the dlink jumps upto 72 and 96 then 108.

I think your problem isnt a problem merely how windows and the vendors drivers differ and why most people always say use the vendors and disable windows wifi etc.

eitherway u dont really need that gateway

The 2nd image shows the router stats that UPnP is reporting. This is basically worthless - it shows the speed at the time of the first sync and never adjusts. So, what has most likely happened is that your router initially synced at 8128kbps and has since dropped to 7168kbps and the UPnP hasnt bothered to update itself.

Nothing to worry about - happens on my poor line too. Router initially syncs at 3812kbps so the UPnP info reports 3.8mbit but it gradually drops to about 3454kbps and UPnP still reports 3.8mbit.

This is either normal for ADSL routers with UPnP enabled or it's only Netgear routers that do it.
