Going to buy Netgear FS608 and connect it up to a SpeedTouch 780WL, with all LAN devices plugged (two PC's, two Squeezebox's and a NAS) into the FS608. Do I need a crossover cable from the Speedtouch to the FS608, or would a normal patch lead work?

I would think a normal patch cable should be fine if at least one of the devices is relatively new :)

I think most modern (past couple of years at least) switches/routers probably have auto sensing for the port, as i haven't seen any consumer ones for a while with a dedicated "uplink" port for connecting to other switches.
