Router Testing

Is there any way that i can test my router to make sure it is working at it;s full potential (Linksys WRT54G Wireless-G). I have 1 wired computer and 2 wireless.1 of the wireless pc's always seems to have a fluctuating signal but is no more than 50 feet away from the router.

Your fluctuating signal is probably due to the adapter not the router.

I tried the card in another pc and the signal was perfect that is why i thought it might be a router prob.
