Router that supports speed limiting for users?

Hi all,

Just wondering if any routers support limiting speed to other users so that my online gameplay isn't destroyed when others are hammering iplayer and the like?

what you need to look for is a router with QOS

Are you a cable or ADSL user? do you need a router with wireless?

Basically you can assign each port a specific amount of bandwidth, I have 25% assigned to each port, so when the wife has iplayer on the Wii, it doesnt affect my gaming
 
You can actually prioritise gaming activity on many routers so you don't need to cripple anyone's bandwidth allowance for your game using 10KB/s or whatever.
