Hi all just wondered if someone can help me out with a question thats bugging me.
I have a USR router that i recently purchased, problem is that im trying to setup the internet access control. So a certain MAC computer on the network cannot access the internet at a certain time. Thing is it does not work unless i set the restriction from 0:00 to 23:59 (i.e all day)
I think it has something to do with the router not knowing what the actual time is as in the system log it currently things its: Jan 2 04:06:20
SO... i have set it to "Automatically synchronize with Internet time servers" and selected:
ntp.cs.strath.ac.uk
ntp.cs.tcd.ie
(UTC)Universal Coordinal Time: Dublin, london, lisbon
-- there is no GMT option?? these time servers i got from MS site??
But its still not getting the time right? Any ideas?
note: at the time of writting this i have changed the UTC to UTC+1 and back again and now it has the correct time and date! hope i dont have to do this every time the router is reset
