My sever and other servers are in the garage. Am using a power line which works well into a switch.

Am wanting faster speeds really.

Can I use the 4 ports off the back of my ASUS RT-N66U into a gig switch on my desk which has 16 ports and then 4 ports off that switch into my garage to feed my 24 port switch then onto my servers and POE switch for CCTV?

Reason for using the 4 is to get the max speeds and bandwidth

You won't see any benefit (and potentially you'll see problems, such as packet loss), as you will be unable to configure any kind of trunking or port aggregation on your consumer-grade networking equipment.

Depending on what switches you are using, you might see an uplift in speeds if your switches support it (and only then if one device to another is saturating your current gigabit, and another connection between two other separate devices is happening concurrently), but your router won't.
