i'm an absolute mug. my bt voyager 2500v could quite easily run for 50 days (never tested for more) without needing a reboot..... but one day i thought it would be a good idea to upgrade the firmware. now it needs rebooting about once a week otherwise it grinds to a halt....

rebooted it because i thought the router was at fault which it wasn't. Dodgy cable was to blame. before that it was around 40 days which was cut short by a power cut.
