Router VPN Y/N?

thinking of using a VPN on the settings of my router so all traffics VPNed

usually just use app etc on the device, but wondering if the above route is better?

also if so who do you use for your VPN?

I only use it for specific traffic, no need really for the entire connection as all traffic is SSL anyway unless of course you are trying to get around geo locks.

I just use it device specific and then let some apps through.
