Router with 2xWANs (for load balancing)

A linux based solution with 2 x nics sounds like a good and cheap idea if it's possible.

Any ideas?

It is....

but the problem with it is that routes are fixed between one or the other of NICs and they do not change dynamically. So if the performance of one of the lines change, then it might not work that great.

I havent yet figured whether true load-balancing and bandwidth aggregation without route caching is possible without extensive linux experience.
