Looking to upgrade my router to one with gigabit ethernet ports, only one i have seen is NETGEAR ProSafe VPN Firewall 25 with 4 Gigabit LAN and Dual WAN Ports FVS124G, which looks a bit over kill? I had a terastation coming, so i want to take advantage of the gigabit transfer from the buffalo to the network devices (which already have 10/100/1000 cards in them)

Any other contenders??

Cheers

You could get a router, then hook it up to a cheap gigabit switch.
Not quite as pretty (two boxes instead of one), but a much wider choice of units, and probably a fair bit more flexible whilst cheaper.

The FVS124G is _not_ a cool bit of kit. The throughput is only rated at 11mbps but real world performance is nearer 9mbps. Enabling content filtering just lowers it even more. Don't get me started on the bugs
