ok I have done a million networks with router to switch, so thats fine. What I want to know now is does it work if you do router to switch to switch? Basically the router has to be somewhere where we have only 1 pc, and we need cabled multiple computers at 2 stops after that. I have 2 switches but never tested the above.

If they're just simple switches and not managed configured for multiple VLANs, just connect them together and they'll work.
With the router connected, the first switch presents the router network on all the other ports, so connecting another switch to one of these ports just does the same to its ports.
Unless the switch ports do auto-mdix or one has an uplink port, you'll need a cross over cable to connect the two.
