Routers with gbit and port mirroring

Looking for a replacement router that has both gigabit ports a port mirroring functionality. I can see the asus rt-ac68u can do it using custom firmware but didn't appear to be official.

Anyone know if the tp-link, asus or netgear routers can do it out of the box?

I have plusnet fibre with a separate bt box so jsut a router without modem is fine.

What exactly do you need the port mirroring for?

Various security tools like snort, alien vault, Bro, packet capture stuff, etc.

I could get a cheap switch and put between router and bt bo xbut would mean outside the firewall so too noisy. Could sorta do internally with routes but easy to bypass. Other solutions mean a couple more boxes and I'd prefer to have a few as possible.

Do you need wifi? What kind is preferential? There a very nice Mikrotik hap Ac just released which can do this.

Let me check that out thanks. Better wifi performance is a must but also better everything than the PlusNet router would be nice - shouldn't be hard it's terrible!

Pretty sure some of the Drayteks have port mirroring available.
