Hello people.

My mate is going to look at a few of these later today, any advice on what to look out for (i assume head gasket change is the deal breaker) as there all gonna be high milage.

i dont think the 1.6 engines are so prone to head gasket problems, its the 1.4 and 1.8 that are more prone to have hgf problems
 
Collect a few details, year, milage & engine code (on the v5)

Check for rust on the sills and around the arches

I'd get the Honda engine 1.6, it'll start off d16 on the v5


Why is your mate just looking at these cars only

I dont think its these cars only, he's just going too look at two of these today after browsing on autotrader.

Unless of course he has a very strange fetish he hasn't mentioned ;)
