I was hoping that someone would be able to recommend me an air-resistance rower for under £200. I've looked at 2nd hand concept's but they are out of my price bracket.
do you really want a home rower? What are you training for? Or are you thinking "Rowing, thast seems like an easy way to get fit in front of the telly" like most people
Not training for anything inparticular, I just quite enjoy rowing machines (really good fun in my books). I figured on expanding my home gym, that is to say my exercise ball, free weights and stepping machine

its not a bad addition to that lot although you might be better off with a treadmill or an elliptical strider. As rowers go anything approaching 200 will be good home spec kit. For that money you might get second hand pro gear if your patient which will be a lot better. Try to get one with the full fan-resistance as opposed to hydraulic. But as for brand or model im not much use im afraid, had reasonable experience with carl lewis kit but its home spec stuff so dont expect too much
