Over the last couple of years I've probably had at least half a dozen deliveries just fail to arrive and yesterday morning I think I found out a likely cause.

Having been away for a few days I got home to find my replacement kindle (thank you kindle for the amazing service) sat on my doorstep, my doorstep which is about one meter away from a fairly popular footpath for a great variety of people at all times of day and night.

I'm astounded the thing was still there after what must have been a minimum of 24 hours in full public view, let alone that it hadn't been rained on and <sarcasm>would just like to take a moment to congratulate the royal mail on another job well done!</sarcasm>

Justified or not I now have a target to vent my frustration on for all those times, having pre-ordered stuff or expected a nice fast service I've had to wait 28 days before being able to file a missing item claim, gits.

Sorry, rant over.

Yeah, similar with me. I've had items appearing at my doorstep or in my blue recycling bin. They only card me sometimes lol (to tell me that it's in the bin). Had a few things go missing but not as bad as 6.

Ive never had a problem with RM or any other delivery company leaving stuff on my door step or any where in my property - that was until i got my Kindle, they left it in the little alcove on my house. Maybe RM have orders to leave Kindles if no one is there to receive it?

Tell Kindle it never showed up. Complain to RM. Get a free Kindle.
No thanks, the last thing I want to do it rip them off for £111 when it's so easily tracked via the kindle's serial number.

Sounds like you need an alternative delivery address.

No, I need the postie's to do their job ie; deliver items through the letterbox and if it wont fit and I'm not in take it back to the post office after leaving a card so I can go collect it.

Rant on a webforum.

Fixed :)

What comes after primary, secondary, tertiary?
The sequence continues with quaternary, quinary, senary, septenary, octonary, nonary, and denary, although most of these terms are rarely used. There's no word relating to the number eleven but there is one that relates to the number twelve: duodenary.

Just in case anybody gets stuck ;)
