Our family love a good game of poker at Christmas and yesterday was the first time ever we have had one of these crop up :D

Nice :D

I've had one once and pretty much jumped out of my seat when I saw it (king and jack in my hand). Took the guy with a full house to the cleaners.

Still miserably lost the game :o

Table was delt Heart Q 10 J
Club ace came out next
Then Heart Ace came out next to our astonishment, but did anyone have the king?

Amazingly one player had the king of hearts and another king of diamonds so there was plenty of betting to say the least:D

the Kd holder must have been silly, any heart would have beaten his straight. Also with a paired board (especially Aces) a full house could have been a possibility :p

I know the odds are crap when you let pocket aces goto the river, but to improve on the hand so much over the 5 cards and still lose, killer. You can only smile and walk away, then shoot the dealer in the car park later!

on play money as well, so you didnt make anything from it :(

I used to sell pokerstars virtual chips :D

Odds of a Royal Flush are ~1 in 650,000 hands, you will have seen almost a 1000 Full Houses before seeing a Royal Flush

I've dropped one Royal Flush. It was the 2nd hand of the night and I put out the hosts nephew, joining us for the first time :o

It's the only real-life RF I've seen, and I managed to keep a lid on it until the hand was finished. He was playing on Aces hoping for 4oak or full house, didn't hit but still pushed all in. Rookie :)

Never seen one, or had one.

haven't really played poker for a little while though. Looking to get into it again in the new year! :)
