Dunno if this is the correct place to put it but;

Is it normal that small items bought off ocuk arrive a day or two later than the selected delivery date on royal mail 2nd class? Bought a small molex-to-6pin adaptor, selected Monday 7th for delivery date and it hasn't arrived yet.

Second class is slow full stop, not just from OcUK, plus tbh since you're being tight and going for it the staff at OCUK probably don't rush to send it ;)

Meh, just seemed a bit silly to spend more on postage than on the actual item, tis why I went for 2nd class instead of 1st class which would have costed about 50p more than the item I was buying, but ah well there you go. :o

Should have just gone to your local market or local pc store. Miles easier, most likely cheaper, and you have it there and then so you cant whinge about Royal Mail.

Yeah, it is. Neither 1st nor 2nd class are guaranteed delivery so the date is the earliest it could arrive.

Slow or not, 2nd class has it's uses. It's for the cases where you really don't need it right now. If it takes a few days, so be it. Not everyone must have their shiny new toy within 2 seconds of placing the order to avoid withdrawal symptoms. :p

You may also be slightly unlucky. As said it depends if the item's despatched quickly, but also if Royal Mail are busy that day (??). I have had items sent to me by my parents arrive quicker by second class post rather than first class sometimes. I guess it's how far down the bag it falls lol...
