Oh, we had a delivery today, in belfast, from home delivery company or some such company, dodgy gimp parked up 2 doors down, walked to the door knocked gently and strode off, only i'd spotted him turning he'd have done the 'we couldn't deliver trick' he was visibly shocked when i answered the door 2 seconds after his quiet knock

Ive never had a problem with royal mail. My mail has all come through on time this week, stuff i have sent has been there next day in some cases. In fact im quite impressed with their service over the last few weeks.
Maybe you should have ordered the stuff earlier?

He bought some iPlugs, iCuffs, iChocolate Sauce, iLube and some iRubbers.

CityLink has the worst drivers IME. He used to run out of his van, post a note, run back and race off as fast as possible without even bothering to take the parcel out the back of the van or ring the doorbell.
I've been avoiding CityLink for the past 3 years now.
UPS is the best by a mile. Also never had problems with RM, DPD, DHL, and many others.

It doesn't really work like that.
It's been said before... but you don't seem to have realised.
The weather impacts deliveries! Expecting the same grade of service when half the country is under a foot of snow is unreasonable.

"the guy" lol. You realise it'll go via 2 or 3 distribution centres, on a HGV down the motorway, then onto a local depot, then onto the van?
