Good evening,

I tried to cancel an order before it was despatched but it was too late so they advised me to refuse delivery and it will automatically be returned to sender. That option has now gone because I wasn't home so should I wait 18 days for it to get automatically sent back or can I go to the delivery office and request to return to sender to speed things up? I've never done that so I don't know if it's possible.

Go in to sorting office. Tell them tracking and show failed delivery card.
Then reject and ask to send back to sender.

Not for the first time I took a thread title literally, and
envisioned a mailman delivering you a sack of garbage.
