RPG Games Help?

Hi there... been a lurker for awile, thought i say hello and join and things, first post is a question AND an answer.

First, my name, NO its not a 'Keyboard Warrior' who uses the internet as a means to act violent and aggressive. Im a 'Keyboard Warrior' who uses there keyboard to exact pure pwnage on other n00bs in games. A HARDCORE gamer.

Heres the question:

...I love my RPG's, like Final Fantasy, Lost Oddyssey and the like, but are there any games like that for PC using 'up-to-date' graphics and 1/2 decent gameplay? I know Last Remnant is coming to PC soon-ish but i wasnt keen on it for the ol' 360.

Mass Effect
Oblivion
Morrowind
Witcher
Titan Quest series
Dungeon Siege Series

Mass Effect - Played it, not like Final Fantasy..too shooter like for me.
Elder Scrolls - Didnt like them really...
Witcher - Cant play it, stutters like mad, also couldnt get into it...
TQ - Bit different, got boring not turn based
Dungeon Siege - Never heard of it

Im really after something turn-based like Final Fantasy, but im failing hard.

Firstly, the name explanation = sad.

Secondly, if the witcher is stuttering on the rig in your sig something is wrong as it runs fine on my AMD x2 64 4400+, 2GB Ram and 7800GTX.

Its not lag, just really REALLY fast stuttering, yet it runs on full at a high FPS, yet stutters, cant figure it out, so i left it on the shelf after my re-install.
