does anyone know of a rolling road place near edinburgh that is able to set up an MF2 fuel controller on a turbo converted car?
no-where near by seems to want to touch it :(

What sort of car is it and what managment you running? Best place is probably Dastek in Dalgety Bay or Star Performance in Kirkcaldy :) Failing that I can put you in contact with a few people that could at least map it accordingly depending on what management you running.

it's a fiat cinquecento, converted to highboost turbo by VAD (who are in surrey!). The cinq is normally SPI, so when it's been converted its had a second injector added and that is controlled by an MF2 fuel controller. It is just the MF2 that needs correctly setting up as it's not fueling properly on boost.

theres a dark side of me that always wondered if the 1.4 gt turbo punto engine would go into a cinq sporting :p

Me too :D I drive a Seicento Sporting when I'm at home and the idea has always appealed (they're pretty fun cars to drive and with 135bhp or more with extra tuning I dare say they'd go pretty well too!), though from reading around it seems the 1242 N/A 16v engine from the Punto seems to be the most common transplant, and I've never seen the 1.4 GTT lump being dropped in so I'm guessing it doesn't fit easily :(

There were a few companies around who producing turbo kits for the standard Cinq/Sei 1.1 engine though, about 105bhp I think they were?

the most common transplant is the 1242cc 8v engine as it drops right in onto the 1108cc mounts. uses the same ecu and everything. you just need a 10mm spacer to go between the exhaust manifold and downpipe. I have a 1242cc 8v engine in my cinq, tuned (ported, flowed and skimmed head, bigger throttle body, chip, lightened flywheel, port matched inlet manifold).

the 1.4 uno turbo engine fits, but not the punto gt one. punto gt one is a bit taller.

Will - head over to fiatforum.com, we'll help sort out tuning your Sei :D

sormicoft - dastek wanted to fit a unichip at a cost of £500 before they'd touch it

funny you should say that my sporting has become surplus to requirements now i get a train to work every day :)

methinks a project might be in the offing, 2l twin cam out one of the old fiats just for the noise :) :)
