I was reading in the paper today about a writer who experienced RSI (repetitive strain injury) problems from using a normal computer mouse. He suffered from the common problems such as muscle tightness and tenderness in forearm, wrist and occassionally fingers/thumb.

The writer recommended switching from using a normal mouse to an ergonomic mouse, specifically an 'Evoluent Mouse III' if your right handed.

I have just been doing a search on google, it seems the cheapest price for this mouse is around a whopping £80. Before investing in one, I was wondering whether any forum members have benefitted from using such a mouse?

No idea about the evo III whatever but I've been using Logitech G5 Gaming Laser for 3years now and its very comfortable even on heavy use ( sometimes up to 16hrs :O ).
The weights are nice to set it up to your weight preference and if you adjust the speed you hardly need to move it at all - I for example use very sesnsitive settings - 1,5 cm = whole screen.

You will never want to come back to basic mice after using G5 or G9 from logitech. ( I like G5 more).
